That is actually one of the topics that is discussed in mtv message board. I’m telling you..life is filled with so many interesting people. Coba aja kalo di perhatiin satu satu phobia-nya orang orang itu…bener2 beraneka ragam. Masa siih ada yang takut sama oven and microwave?..huehehe…he swears god that he never uses both things.
Ada juga yang takut sama mushroom..and banana….what’s so scary about them anyway?. Truus..ada juga yang takut sama vacuum cleaner when it’s on…well I can understand this one, cause the noise is just plain annoying..tapi biasanya sih yang takut paling anak kecil aja.
Ada juga yah orang yang afraid of opening a door that is coming in towards him/her, jadi kalo pintu yg di dorong sih ok2 aja, but she would never open the door that she has to pull it, katanya takut aja gitu kalo tau tau ada orang yang dashing in her way and smash her hand or something. Selain itu, ada juga orang yang afraid being rude to the employees at fast food restaurants. I know it’s never a good thing to be rude to people but she has her own particular reason people.. she has this fear that when she’s not polite to the employee, she’s afraid that they will spit on her food or do something nasty to it…huehe..it makes sense in a way though...
Ada juga yang lucu lagi…someone has a serious phobia of fish!!. she ain’t joking yo..cause she said that whenever she visits her friend who happens to have fish, they have to hide it first somewhere. She said that when she has kids in the future…they better not come to her face with that..”mommy, may I have a fish?”..cause the answer will be..HELL NO!!!…huaha..now that’s funny..
Ehh tapi bukan itu aja…there are still a lot of strange phobias, and the one that I found really strange is..there’s some one who’s afraid of BANKS, yes yes yes…it’s the place where you do all your money transactions. Don’t you find it strange? I bet he had a really bad experience when he was in a bank or something. He said he hasn’t been inside a bank for years. I know we can use the one in the grocery store. but still you know..some transactions have to be done in the main office.
Hmm..trus..ada juga yang petrified of clown, I heard that one a lot …even P. Diddy is afraid of clown..huehe..*beneran tauuk*. Selain clown..ada juga yang can’t stand people in animal or character costumes..hmm..goodbye disneyworld aja kali ya buat mereka. Trus ada juga yang have a phobia of antique stores…don’t know why, but probably cause everything there looks old and have unknown history that makes it so spooky.
Selain itu semua, ada juga yang afraid of dandelions…huehe, she must hate spring so much, huh? Trus yang terakhir nih... nggak usah banyak2 yah cause it'll take up a lot of space if i list everything. Okay.. you know when you go to make like Pillsbury biscuits or muffin right? You have to peel the paper off slowly..and then it makes that huge POP noise when it’s open..??..this one person said that’s the scariest thing he ever experiences..hihi…
As far as for me, I don’t think I have a strange phobia..i know height terrifies me but I guess that’s a common thing. Oh..wait a minute...i think i do have one. I can’t stand to see a door that’s half open (or is it half shut?). Anyway, I just can’t stand it..it has to be either all the way opened or all the way shut. Kesannya tuh kalo cuma kebuka sedikit kaya there's something/someone hides behind it. ..hiiiii..
Trusnya...ada satu lagi nih, I have what's called an obsessive compulsive disorder, it's a disorder when you feel like you have to check and recheck everything, like checking for the hundreds time whether you have locked the door or turned off the iron or not. Sometimes when i'm just leaving the house..i'll be like.."did i turn off the stove? how about the candle?"..and i'll be feeling uncomfortable...and it happens quite often. But mine is not that bad though..and i'm working on it. I've read a book about obsessive compulsive disorder...and hmm..let's just say that i feel so sorry for those people. There is this one person who sometimes feel like her teeth are not clean enough, so she keeps brushing her teeth again and again, like every ten minutes or so. There's a medication for this..in severe cases you have to take meds daily.

Too bad i didn't watch the whole game cause i was stuck somewhere downtown. I only watched the 4th quarter, I was kinda praying that the season would not ended in game 4, cause then I'll be left with no entertainment on TV no more, hmmpph but what can i say, i guess i just have to wait till November...and goodbye NBC..cause next season NBC won't be hosting the game, i think it'll be in either ABC or ESPN next time. I think this final is not that exciting though, in fact according to Nielsen Media Research, this is the lowest rated final since 1981, i don't know who were playing at that time, but i agree with that cause this time the lakers simply won by defeat, no competition. For me the real final was the pacific division championship against the Kings, that was a hell of a game.
By the way, I think the MVP should be given to Kobe instead of Shaq. But oh well...Kobe has a lot years left. He's young. I predict he'll eventually get MVP one fine day

I was watching Fear Factor just now, but then the gross part came in, i could never stand it to see them forced to eat disgusting things. This time is worse, each of the contestant have to eat what is called a skeeball. The name sounds cute huh? But it is actually pig uterus....ugh imagine that. By the way ..it's pink by color,it's like a long spiral tube and looks slimy, it's just gross to look at, let alone to put it in your mouth and chew it. And they said it's smells so disgustingly bad, worse than sour milk, in fact it's the worst smelling items ever stored in the infamous Fear Factor refrigator. Ooh noo let's just talk about something else before someone is throwing up here....
So the lakers won again last night, well the Nets had a chance to win the game, or at least stretch it to over time but it just didn't happen. I'll be rooting for the nets this wednesday though, not that i don't want Lakers to win, they will eventually win the title again this time..we all know that. But the thing is, Lakers is my favorite so i don't want this season to end just yet because it's gonna be months again till i can see them again. I know it'll be nice for them to have a sweep 4-0 win, but i still want to be entertained by them, so..please extend the series and make it to game 7, will you?
Kobe was playing unreal last night, i hope he'll get his first MVP finals this year, he is trully deserve it. Anyway, speaking about the Lakers, i like all the starting line ups, but i'm less than impressed with the bench. Well Shaw was allright last night and so did George.. but the rest of them, especially Samaki Walker? Damn i hate him soooo bad, i hate the stupid smirks he has in his face everytime he draws a stupid foul, and he always drawn a stupid foul within seconds of stepping on the court...what's up with that??..
Oh by the way, i got a dior sunglasses last weekend.... *makasih ya tayaaank*..definitely need a new fabz sunglasses for the summer..
It's sports weekend huh?. There's the NBA Finals, the French Open finals, the Stanley Cup, the final leg of the Triple Crown, plus interleaque ball and Tyson-Lewis. I'm sure it'll be a fun weekend for the guys. Ooh, and let's not forget there's the World Cup also. So for all the Ladies and all my single girlfriends back home, don't forget to hop in to your favorite sports bar this weekend where all the guys watch the kick offs and find yourself a nice looking guy...=).

So.. the lakers won the game last night..it wasn't a surprise, was it? Anyway, before the game started, they had this show about Robert Horry, a glimpse idea about his life lah ceritanya. Ternyata, dia punya anak cewe, ashlyn namanya yang agak cacat mental dan nggak bisa ngomong sama sekali..anaknya lahir with a genetic defect that renders her unable to walk or eat without assistance. Kasian yah? Jadi kalo lagi nggak ada game or practice, si horry ya balike ke houston buat spend time sama keluarganya dan juga nemenin anaknya ke therapist. Horry, beside kobe, is my favorite player, i know he is not the most versatile player in the league, but he always reappears to make a difference...
well what can i do...i have absolutely nothing to do these days. I just updated my resume cause i plan to send out my resume to some of the companies that i'm targetting.
Yesterday, at Borders, i got a bargain book about the icons of the century. It is basically a brief biography of the people who have made a history during the twentieth century. Most of the famous people are there, from the Queen Victoria, Coco Chanel, Mahatma Gandhi, Hitler, Anne Frank, Evita Peron, Ronald Reagan to Margaret thatcher to Boris Yeltsin. Seru juga kayanya ya... i just got to buy that one walaupun masih ada beberapa buku yang belom kebaca such as The confession of teenage hackers, The millionaire next door, Ca Bau kan & Supernova *thanks for the supply trid..=)*, dan setumpuk majalah majalah dari mulai A+, Djakartamag, Cosmo Indonesia, Dewi, Prodo, Femina, Tabloid Marketing and SWA..my all time fave magazine ...ooh and also ada majalah master web. Duuh, tolong dong master web, i think you guys better concentrate di websitenya master web aja *banyak dead linknya tuh...website gue aja dari yang jaman duluuuuu banget masih ada padahal jelas2 linknya udah di ganti*, too much diversivications in a short time period will only hurt you. Anyway, it's just my 2 cents, abisnya majalahnya terlalu di ada adain banget.......
Soo...what else?, i think that's it for today, i gotta go to post office before it's closed and head off to the gym after that....i'm determined to get one of those toned abs and shoulder this summer *woohoo*..therefore i couldn't skip a single session eventhough skarang badannya masih pegel2 semua..=(..
So much thing has happened in these past two weeks, and so far, this month has been the happiest month for me…full of joy and pleasure.. everything is going my way..*thank you God..i love you mom and dad*. Anyway, here's the brief recap for the last two weeks. I finally graduated, my parents were here to attend my graduation, I was so happy that they could be here with me. Even though my dad was kinda ruined my graduation moment in the end, i couldn't even manage to take pictures with my friends, my classmate and everything cause my dad wanted to watch the damn trinidad boxing match on TV therefore we had to leave early to make it on time for the game with 2 hours drive...arrgghh!!. But it's all okay i guess..*love you dad*
Trus..ya udah, paling jalan jalan disini aja…with nduti too after he got off work. They were here for like a week, and then my dad had a conference in DC, so my mom and I tagged along. I actually love DC especially the georgetown area, but it's sooo crowded it reminds me of Jakarta, well I still love it though, banyak makanan siiyy, hehe, I think I ate more Indonesian foods there than I have ever eaten since I've been here..*yuummeeh*. My fave was Cafe Asia...yang modelnya Asian Fusion gitu.....i love asian fusion.
Tapi stelah balik dari dc i ended up with a flu, maybe because i was always out practically the whole day and half of the night, accompanying my mom to go shopping.. store after store and i'm now literally sick of shopping malls, i especially can't stand to look at a typical girl store that have racks of peasant tops, ruffles skirt, gypsy clothes kinda thing. I liked it when they first came out though but now i think it's just way too much.. Trus, sempet jalan2 ke new york juga, damn it's been a while since the last time i went there...., browsed around soho and times square..!…but this is not the same trip with the one that i intended to go the other day though. So i'll still be going there sometimes soon for that trip.
Other thing happened was, i've moved out of carbondale. Well that's about it I guess…..now i gotta get myself a job..
The trip to new york was canceled, we supposed to go there last Wednesday, but then we pushed it back to Friday, and then..something came up, so we have to push it back again, this time a bit longer, maybe next month or so. Anyway, I’m so glad now cause finally I’m done with all those exams, papers, presentations and all that. I’m still amazed that I could pull through and managed to stay sane for the past three weeks. I feel like I should’ve been given an award or something.
Anyway, today is Monday, I usually hate Monday but I guess not anymore eh?..cause I’m officially on a three months holiday starting from now on…*syeneng* . Last weekend was all right, it was beautiful outside, we tried this Thai house restaurant near by, and it’s good. Tapi ada betenya juga sih weekend kemaren cause when we were about to get on the car?..guess what we found??

Anyway, while this weekend was all right, the previous weekend was very eventful. Despite the exams I had to take I still managed to socialite…*hihi, nggak mo rugi*..abisnya gimana, it's my last days here so i might as well just live it to the fullest right?. It started on Thursday night when I was modeling for Evonne’s fashion show, the theme was the tropical look of Brazil. A lot of people were there, including the paparazzi too..huaha. All of the designers were very creative, i like the one with the denim theme. Anyway, hmm I think it was rather embarrassing for me. Soalnya, something was wrong with the white top that I supposed to wear, so I ended up wearing my own top that didn't matched at all with the skirt. I looked sooo out of place, and thank god my picture didn’t shownup at the next morning school newspaper with the title “Fashion Don’ts 2002” above it, huehehe, or else I wouldn’t dare to show up to school no more. But hey, at least my hair was pretty..;P
On that same night, the department of marketing held a marketing banquet for all the graduating seniors and I was supposed to be there. I heard the banquet was pretty cool, …now that I think of it, I’d rather go to the banquet instead. Anyway, on Friday, we had ASAF member night, a lot of people were there, and I received a plaque and a certificate of achievement, thank you thank you. Thank you guys for still giving me a plaque even though I wasn’t such a dedicated VP, hihi…=). The next day, which was on Saturday, we went to Longbranch coffee shop in the afternoon, I studied for my b2b marketing class, while nduti and ben played chess there. After that, we went to eat at Super Buffet, and then we went to Best Buy. Later on that night, we went to see Panic Room, I thought it supposed to be a thriller movie, but it turned to be a joke. Masa sih pas dia nelfon 911 di jawabnya..”911, please hold”..hellooo it’s 911, nggak mungkin banget kan disuruh hold gitu yang nelfon. Move on…trus minggunya, we went to barnes noble and then we went to the animal shelter near my place to check if they have new kittens, but there was only one..and the others were like lazy old cats. Too bad…
Oh well, I think I need a shower…
