First Few Days Alone With Two Kids

The house is on the market now. We listed last weekend, sign contract nya hari Jum’at kemaren tanggal 15. Sebenernya mau di listingnya hari Senen nya, tapi ternyata harus pas sign contract nya, jadi as of today, Days On the Market nya udah 4 hari deh. We priced it at $178,000…I think it’s a fair price, the other houses in the neighborhoods who are 500 sq feet smaller priced their house around $165,000..so ours is definitely a good deal. We are not reaping any profit, in fact, we are losing money…but that’s fine with us, especially when you factor in the opportunity cost that we’ll be missing if we’re still here.

We decided to list with Lucy and Lacey, waktu hari apa tuh yah, gue sholat istkharah dan setelah itu semakin mantep sama mereka. Lagian yah, selling a house is a stressful thing, you want someone who is reliable to work with, someone who you can contact anytime of the day, someone who will responds to your every inquiries fast….and of course someone who is nice, who has a high standard of honesty and integrity.

Pas hari Jum’at, for sale sign nya di pasang. Sabtu nya kita masih beres beres, nge drop in barang di Goodwill, di Once upon a child, sore nya nge drop barang di storage. Minggu nya Oki pun masih nge cat trus kita ke rumah Manda untuk nge drop barang barang di storage nya. Hari Senin Lacey pasang listing sheet nya di depan rumah, gue lanjut beres beres dan foto foto rumah juga. Oki posting rumahnya di Zillow.com. Hari ini gue masih foto foto, tinggal laundry room aja yang belom di foto. Rumahnya udah ada di MLS. Hopefully we’ll get a showing soon..amiiin.

Tadi nya gue mikirnya the best scenario would be rumahnya laku sebelom melahirkan, tapi pindahan ke apartemennya setelah melahirkan. Sekarang gue berharapnya rumahnya laku cepet aja dehh, langsung pindahan ke apartemen juga nggak pa pa, I’m ready to move on!!. Baru nyadar dan ngerasain nih kalo jual rumah, especially at this time of day is really a stressful job!!

You know, I've always admired and envied people who are passionate about what they are doing. Not many people can wake up in the morning and feel excited about doing the things they have to do that day. I believe that finding passion equals to happiness, and those who have found their passion and continue working on it will have a fulfilling life.

Sayangnya memang banyak orang yang belum nemu passion nya di mana, some are just clueless dan akhirnya ngelakuin apa yang kayanya bakalan banyak demand nya di job market. Ada juga yang akhirnya memang jatuh cinta sama yang di kerjainnya dan akhirnya jadi passionate dengan kerjaannya. Tapi banyak juga yang stuck in a rut, benci sama kerjaannya tapi nggak tau harus gimana lagi. Ada lagi yang sebenernya tau passionnya di mana tapi nggak berani untuk keluar dari comfort zone nya dengan alasannya masing masing.

Some are lucky enough to have the calling, to know what is it exactly that they want to do in the future and to have the talent and the opportunity to follow through and showcase their abilities. Ada yang memang dari kecil hobi dan memang jago akan sesuatu seperti menggambar, atau main musik, olah raga dan lain sebagai nya.

Banyak juga yang ngerasa passionnya itu ada di satu bidang, fotografi misalnya. Padahal megang kamera juga jarang. To me, that's not passion. If you are passionate about something, you should have been doing it all along. Kalo memang suka fotografi ya berarti setiap hari udah nenteng kamera, foto foto sana sini. If you haven't been doing it, that means you are not passionate about it. Kalau memang belum ada kamera yang canggih ya beli aja dulu alternatif nya yang jauh lebih murah. Everybody has to start somewhere, just use whatever tool you have right now, and better things will be found along the way. Take lots of pictures, compile a portfolio, volunteer to help a photo shoot because when you are willing to go out and put together a solid work without any pay, you will get noticed and people will come calling you eventually.

Today is my birthday, and one of the things that I'm thankful is that I have finally found my passion. It is indeed satisfying to finally put my enthusiasm into action and find myself doing what I meant to be doing. It's a wonderful feeling to have that goal in my life and to know the step towards achieving it and believe that I can actually make those dreams come true... because I have a strong desire to be better and my passion is my greatest strength..=)

...and now here i am 4 years later..i still remember everything, every little things, every little details and every smell, i remember the knowledge, the ups and downs, the lesson of life i got, the laughters and the tears, the proud and the not so proud moment, the nice people i've met along the way and i appreciate all of it. more things have happened now and of course i remember them all too, i told you i have a pretty good memory..;)..and yea you can tell this is inspired by the back to school craze that everyone is experiencing right now, you lucky duck..i miss my college days!!

the college basketball season has just ended, and with that..the medias have starting to release their projected rankings for next seasons. Most of them have the salukis somewhere from the the top 15 to the top 25. The highest is from the Sports Illustrated Magazine that has us ranked as the number 10!!!..you seee i wasn't drinking too much maroon kool aid when i said we'll be good next year..:p..

10. Southern Illinois Salukis. The Salukis, who tied for second in the Missouri Valley Conference, have their top nine scorers back, including the senior backcourt of Jamaal Tatum and Tony Young, who will be gunning for their fourth -- and the school's sixth -- straight NCAA tournament appearance. Veteran squad + prior Big Dance experience + strong guardplay = dangerous in March. Blowout loss to West Virginia this year be damned.

Btw, here's an interesting list on why college basketball games are more fun to watch than the NBA (dikutip dari sini: http://www-tech.mit.edu/V123/N65/65_-_ncaa.65s.html)...hehe..I'm not a fan on the NBA, I guess I used to be a fan of lakers, but then I jumped off the bandwagon, hehe..but I'm still a fan of Mr. 81 though..=).

1. Egos
college basketball players always play their hearts out..and they are humbled by the fact that they are paid in education. beberapa dari mereka ada yang datang dari keluarga di bawah pas pasan, they live in the projects, and mostly the first generation in college, ada yang udah punya anak, ada yang keluarganya addicted to crack dan lain sebagainya..and most importantly they have to juggle between their academic responsibilities (Exams, assignments, group meetings, etc) and their responsibilities as atheletes (working out, practice, travelling, etc). Memang sih pemain nba juga pasti nya ada yang backgroundnya seperti itu, but once they are in nba of course they lead a pretty good and easy life.

2. Playing style
college basketball is more of a teamwork, not just relying on two or three stars for individual performances, like in the NBA. and plus the NBA is boooring..and the game is too long..:p.

3. College Fans
The feeling you get when you're in the arena is like no other. There is no NBA stadium that can produce the intensity and outright crazy fanaticism that college students show for their respective teams. You don’t see NBA stadiums filled with an entire section of screaming college fans all with painted bodies and choreographed, traditional tactics to disrupt the opposing team on free throws. It adds a level of excitement and enjoyment to college games that isn’t there in the NBA. The passion of college fans is so intense and so contagious it easily affects other people.

4. Parity
In any given year of college basketball, there are at least twenty teams that are good enough to win the championship, unlike the NBA, where you know a Western conference team will win, and you usually even know which one by the first round of the playoffs. In college b-ball, you never know until the final game who’s going to win since it's a one and done tournament. The greater number of teams also means there are more possible match-ups between good teams, and so generally more good games than in the NBA.

5. Permanence
In college, there is a much better chance the team you root for will be around for as long as you are, and there is no chance of the team being sold or moving cities. Along the same lines, the sheer number of college teams means that more people have a team they can root for, even if they do not live near a major city.

6. March Madness
This one goes pretty much without saying. To me, the NBA playoffs never come near to the excitement of March Madness. Thanks to office pools, just about everybody in the country fills out a bracket and discusses games over the water cooler. Throw in the fact that so many casual fans are rooting for either an alma mater or a state university in the field of 64, and it's easy to see how March Madness has become a social event.

friday, March 3

d went home around noon, we watched wichita vs. indiana game and as expected, wichita won. after that, we watched creighton vs. bradley. bradley was the hottest team in the league, they had been on a nice winning streak coming into the tournament while creighton played without one of their starters due to injury, but dana altman is a very good coach so it still possible for creighton to come up with a win, but too bad they lost, i think it's the first time in a few years that they lost in the first round game. anyway..ben came right when the game was over so we left the house right away, picked up hana at school and went to savvis center. we already have the ticket that we bought yesterday, using the 10% off coupons from taco bell, hehe. tapi sayangnya duduknya di upper bowl, but there were lots of empty seats at the lower level so we just sit on those empty seats. it was a of course an exciting game, pretty high scoring for us who are not good offensively...we played against evansville, we lost the last time we played them so i knew we weren't gonna lose again..payback is a biatch baby. Jamal Tatum was the star that night, i know from now on we will always go to him no matter what, for better or worse, for richer and poorer, in sickness and in health.. Foster had a hell of a game too, the crowd went crazy when he threw in a dunk..he actually almost had a double2 that night. the sweet part was when the students started chanting for smithpeters to play, and when he had the ball and was wide open at the 3 point line, the students screamed..SHOOOOTT..haha..he shoot it and it went it..3 points for him..hehe.

abis itu ben went home and we decided to stay to watch missouri state vs. northern iowa, we're gonna face the winner of this game tomorrow. the game started 20 minutes after our session..jadi muter muter aja dulu, ordered some food and stuff. jibran seneng banget deh di ajak ke ball game gini, proudly wearing his salukis t-shirt..high fiving orang orang yang lewat di depannya, hehe..banyak yang manggil jibran lil' salukis. anyway..the first half of the next game nya lumayan seru sih, fansnya juga rame banget. Jibrannya udah mulai kecapean pas jam segitu..iya lah udah jam 9.30 an..jadi dia duduk aja di pangku. the salukis players came out of the locker room and sit around behind the bench and watched the game. pas half time d went to the ticket office to buy tickets for tomorrows game tapi sayang udah tutup..so we just had to get the ticket before the game tomorrow. pas second half kurang seru game nya, msu suddenly turned flat on the offensive end..so northern iowa it is for us tomorrow. Kita sampe rumah jam 11 malem, adit smsed congratulating on the win dan bilang kalo besok mau ikutan..yaayyy..the more the merrier...

saturday, March 4
pagi pagi udah bangun..hehe..padahal game nya jam 4..:p but we actually left the house around 11. Stopped by savvis center to buy the student tickets..tapi katanya boothnya baru buka sejam sebelum game nya mulai..huu. jadi ya udah kita ke delmar aja dulu, bought bubble tea and crispy chicken trus jemput adit di rumahnya, tante anne nawarin apa jibran mau di titipin ajaa...tapi kasian sih jibrannya soalnya dia udah tau kalo mau di ajak nonton basket dan udah teriak teriak S-I-U gitu..hehe, kan kasian..akhirnya gue bilang besok aja deh kalo misalnya nanti menang..:D. Di sana sekalian nonton wichita vs. bradley..tapi cuma sebentar sih nontonnya..soalnya harus buru2 balik ke savvis center lagi untuk beli ticket..ngantri nya panjang soalnya. sampe sana jam 3-an dan udah mulai pada ngantri, padahal ticket boothnya juga belum buka..and we only have 2 student id, jadi harus 2 orang yang ngantri..untung nggak ketauan pake ID yang sama. Setelah itu langsung masuk dan sempet nonton 3 menit terakhir gamenya wichita vs. bradley, and bradley prevailed and moved on to the final vs either us or UNI. This time kita dapet duduknya di student section, right behind the basket..jadi aja harus berdiri terus the entire game, hehe. Agak ngeri juga nih game ini, while we played good last night..UNI played good too although I don't know if they were that good last night or it was just MSU playing like crap.

The first few minutes of the game was pretty stressing to watch with the referees calling every ticky tack foul on our sides..huhu. the score at half time was 20-20..hehe, it's a pretty low scoring game, well what do you expect, we are a defensive minded team..:p. Dan lucunya..pas second half abis score nya 40-40..hehehe. northern Iowa was actually up by 2, 40 seconds left into the game..but mullins tied the game with a drive to the basket. Udah takut aja mereka bakalan hit game winning shot tapi untung aja jacobson missed his three..yayy..tony young did a good job defending him, so on to overtime. it started with a dunk from falker and he was fouled, so it was a 3-point play. shaw took over the game on overtime, i guess he wanted a win on his birthday!!

setelah itu, kita kemana yaaah...kayanya langsung ke party city di olive deh..sepanjang jalan ribut ngomongin game besok..hehe..iya lah championship game gitu loch and our post season is on the brink..kita mikirin pake baju apa, bawa sign apa..dll. adit came up with a few brilliant sign ideas..hehe..since it will be broadcasted on cbs, jadi lucu aja kalo ada CBS2 nya kaya: Curse Breaking Shoes (I will elabore more on that later..). Cool but So. ILL..haha..dan buat shaw ada I came, I shaw (instead of saw), I conquer..:D..waduuh udah excited banget dehh di jalan. Pas di party city juga ribuuutt banget kita..nyoba2 in wig dan pernak pernik lain, beli face paint, spidol, kacamata dan lain sebagainya. Abis itu kita ke northwest plaza untuk beli salukis t-shirt di steve and barry..trus langsung ke rumahnya adit dan mulai bikin signnya...eh enggak deh, adit, manda hana ke walmart dulu beli2 perlengkapan lagi..hehe..asli kita niaattt banget. Kayanya yang ada di sana (Reza, Freddy, Edwin, Melisa, Ading) pada bingung ngeliat kita mau pada ngapain sih sebenernya...hehehe. Tapi manda, Edwin sama Melisa jadi mau ikutan besok..sama happy juga..asiiiikk rame kaan jadinya. Ya udah Manda mulai bikin sign2nya..gue sih nontonin aja..hehe..maklum nggak kreatif..:p. Kita pulang sekitar jam 12 malem.

This is the day..semalem sampe nggak bisa tidur gara gara mikirin hari ini, hehe..sampe jam 6 pagi juga udah bangun bangun terus..:p..akhirnya jam 8 bangun, siapin ini itu, siapin breakfastnya jibran, mandi, mandiin jibran dan lain lain sebagainya. Jam 10 lewat berangkat deh, ke rumahnya manda dulu..soalnya jibran mau di titipin di sana..sampe sana langsung pada pake atributnya masing masing, ada yang face painting, dll. Trus jam 11 lewat berangkat deh..Happy udah sampe sana duluan, lagi ngantri di ticket boothnya..padahal juga belum buka gitu.. Pas jam 12 baru buka, some girls from creighton were selling their student tickets for less than face value, jadi ya lumayan laahh.. we got our student tickets again and then off we went inside. Ternyata di dalem udah lumayan rame, dan kita lumayan di liatin orang orang..hahaha..seru deh pokonya seruuuu. Pas kita masuk aja itu kan masih 40 menit sebelum game nya mulai, tapi orang orang udah pada heboh. Pas first half nya seru gamenya..kita marah marahin wasitnya..hehehe, "wasit picek?!?!"..hihihi..sempet ketinggalan beberapa point juga but we managed to come back and only down by one at half time. the second half was another story..I don't know what got into the team during half time, but they really gave it their all and left everything on the court, it was by far the best effort from the team..really it was salukis basketball at its finest..they just kept scoring (i have never seen so many dunks in one game before) and scattered bradley's defense apart and they took their defense to another level, forcing turnovers and making bradley scoreless for more than 8 minutes. ts. Suasananya baru berubah waktu ada kejadian cheerleader jatuh seperti yang udah di ceritain di postingan sebelumnya. I think it was 3 minutes into the game, setelah gamenya di mulai lagi, Bradley stole an inbound pass twice and made two three pointer..huhu..i was a bit scared even though we were up by more than 10 point at that time, but we were fouled a couple of times and we made those free throws, shaw hit a three too and then some.

Waktu 2 menit terakhir itu..orang orang yang duduk di atas mulai pada turun, jadi pada mendekat ke courtnya gitu, udah siap siap mau storm the court..hahaha..gue juga udah bilang pokonya kalo menang i am storming the court..hihi...and I did..with thousands other people..:p. Pokonya pas buzzernya bunyi..semuanya langsung pada lari ke court..and the string streamer fell down from the rafters with the WE ARE THE CHAMPION song in the background..it felt so surreal..haha *norak*...trus ya udah abis itu kita foto2 dong, ngeliatin pemainnya yang lagi pada di interview, trus di set up panggung di courtnya to give them the award. Pemainnya udah pada pake championship t-shirt aja. Randal Falker was the MVP...he was really unstoppable in the second half...i told you he is one tough motherFalker..:PP..hahaa...talk about MEET THE FALKER!!!. Mullins came up big too, he only played for 5 minutes in the first half cause he had a sprained ankle..but he played for 16 minutes in the second half and the difference was clear..our offense was much better with mullins on the floor. he is a true point guard..even UNI coach complimented him on the post game interview yesterday, he basically said that if you look the word point guard on the dictionary, mullin's picture is on there, he is thaatt goood..=). anyway...abis itu gunting net nya deh..dan fans2nya masih asik aja gitu di dalem sampe securitynya escorted everybody out the court..hehe. Dari situ kita makan di Hooters Union Station..of course i was still smiling and just couldn't stop talking about the game..:P

This victory gave us the automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament, that was why winning the conference tournament was so important..soalnya kalo kemaren itu kita nggak menang, kayanya nggak bakalan masuk NCAA as an at large bid, kalo 4 taun berikutnya sih masih bisa since we finished first in the regular season, but our record was not as impressive this year. Soo happy for them to be able to keep the streak of the NCAA appearance (there are only 16 school in the nation that have been to the tournament 5 times in a row), so it is quite a record for the salukis. We are a young team, with no senior on the starting line up, that's why we've been so inconsistent dan nge break banyak good streak; home winning streak, the regular season champion, etc. But in the end, they did break the bad streak too; udah 10 taun lebih kita nggak pernah menang di MVC tournament ini even with a much superior team, but this team is capable of doing so, and most importantly ya the NCAA streak itu. So in the end, they won the game that's counted the most. It's gotta be the shoes babyy...hehehe. Biasanya kan pemainnya pake sepatu putih maroon, tapi jamaal tatum and tony young had an idea to make a fashion statement by changing the shoes for the tournament, jadi sepatu hitam dan kaos kaki hitam..katanya ya siapa tau aja jadi bisa menang, hehe..superstitious banget yaa..but whatever it took to win lah pokonya..lagian kan kalo hitam2 gitu jadinya kan garang dan arrogant aja keliatannya, so maybe it boosted their confidences..and hey it worked!! Good job guys...now make some noise in the NCAA!!!

Seneng deh pas weekend itu (2 minggu lalu). Downtown st. louis berubah jadi rame dan meriah sekali..entah berapa puluh ribu orang tuh yang dateng ke sini untuk nonton final four, baik nonton langsung di edward jones dome nya atau yang nonton rame rame di bar. Banyaak banget calo2 ticket berkeliaran di downtown...pingin sih sebenernya nonton..but not for $600..:P, we should've registered our name in the lottery last year, siapa tau bisa dapet ticketnya..walaupun lumayan mahal juga ($150)..but the experience will be priceless...apalagi taun ini for the first time in so many years that the number 1 seats meet in the final, everybody has been imagining this match up since the season started. Oh well..

Tapi tetep seru juga sih weekend itu walopun nggak nonton langsung, banyak acara2 lain yang bisa di ikutin. Hari kamis malemnya ada slam dunk and three point contest di washington university..tadinya pingin kesana..tapi entah kenapa nggak jadi..yang ada nonton dari rumah aja. Hari jum'at nya ada team practice...went to downtown with Jibran..pas udah sampe sana baru ngeh kalo gue pake jacket ijo, jadi banyak yang mikir kalo gue fansnya michigan kali yaa..pantesan dari tadi kalo ketemu orang2 pake baju ijo2 gue di senyumin trus kalo ada mobil plat michigan lewat gue juga di klakson2..hehehe. Pas nyampe edward jones...antriannya panjang banget..pas lagi ngantri trus di samperin petugasnya lagi..katanya gue nggak boleh masuk bawa stroller..soalnya udah kebanyakan yang nitip stroller di kantor guest service nya..kecuali kalo gue bisa nunjukin metro ticket (bukti kalo gue ke downtown naik kereta..jadi mau nggak mau strollernya emang harus di bawa)...tapi kan kita nyetir..and i parked the car like 6 or so freaking blocks from there..erghh..nyebelin nih peraturannya...bisa aja sih minta ke orang yang punya metro ticket ..tapi males banget harus nanyain semuanya satu2. Trus akhirnya gue samperin aja petugas yang lain yang cewe dan dengan masang muka memelas gue bilang kalo gue tuh dateng all the way from out of town to see the practice..masa udah sampe sana tau2 nggak di bolehin siihhh..hihi..akhirnya dia kasian kali..trus dia bilang ya udah strollernya tinggalin disitu aja deh, tapi dia nggak tanggung sih kalo ilang..ya udah lah coba aja..daripada gue nggak nonton sama sekali mendingan stroller ilang..hihihi..lagian tuh illinois udah mau selesai practicenya..jadinya gue nggak mau mikir lama2.

Pas udah di dalem, wahh kaget juga liat orang segitu banyaknya..40 something thousands gitu..padahal kan ini practice aja..but almost the entire seats was filled. Gue kira gue bisa jalan2 di courtside nya and take pictures of the players up close...boohoo salah besar ternyata...hehe..gue kemaren duduk pas di sebelah CBS broadcast sectionnya, jadi lumayan lah at least bisa ngeliat broadcasternya kaya craig gumbell, clark kellog and seth davis..hehe. Kalo ESPN nggak di dalem edward jones dome nya, tapi di Union Station..padahal pingin juga liat Dicky V, Digger and Jay Bilas...*pingin nimpuk maksudnya*..haha...! Setelah illinois selesai, giliran UNC yang main...there were coach williams, sean may and co...kalo pas ini yang nonton nggak sebanyak Illinoi so we can move closer to the floor...seru juga sih practice nya apalagi pas dunk sessionnya. Anywayy....abis itu rencananya kita mau nonton NBC all star game Vs. Globetrotters (sp?) di savvis center...tapi malah jadi pada males gitu...akhirnya makan di King n I and browsed west county mall.

Sabtu nya cuma lewatin downtown aja ngeliat2 keramean, tapi nggak turun. Pas hari minggu nya baru kesana, ada taste of st. louis, ada concert (kelly clarkson, better than ezra to name a few)..dan banyak atraksi2 lain...ada concert nelly sih walaupun nggak berhubungan dengan final four..kebetulan pas aja waktunya. Dari situ kita jalan kaki ke union station and on the way there i saw this guy..

di depan Hyatt..not sure of who he was sih..tadinya kirain chingy ato siapa gitu..but i knew he was somebody famous soalnya orang pada minta tanda tangan dan ada bodyguards nya di sekelilingnya, his flashy cadillac escapade was waiting for him and there was this very coutured girl who looks like one of the girls in the hiphop video carrying her L'Ingénieux PM Suhali. Turned out it was T.I, the rapper from atlanta..I did take his picture...you can see it in the PEOPLE album in my photo gallery.

Anywayy..kita main2 aja di union station, liat2 merchandise nya final four, jibran got an NCAA 2005 ball from Bude Dien...trus kita makan di KC Masterpiece....my first time there and it was the worst dining experience i have ever encountered deh..will.never.go to.kc.masterpiece.ever.again!!!..no it's not the food..we didn't even get the chance to taste it...it was something else. But it was a good weekend nonetheless..jibran had so much fun running around everywhere.

Hari senennya championship game...and hiks.... illinois picked a bad night to have their poor shooting..but in the end, they only lose by 5 despite their inability to get the ball in the basket..I don't think Coach weber was outcoached as they did get open looks, but they just couldn't get it done. Too bad..but congrats for UNC though.

And with all that being said..it's been a fun season...and i miss my salukis already...i've been trying to compose all the pictures i have (taken and stolen..:p) and upload it in my album, belum selesai sih..but you can view it in my photo gallery under SALUKIS...gotta love the human side of basketball...for me there's more to basketball than basketball yang kalo pun gue jelasin disini juga mungkin nggak bakal ada yang ngerti..hehe...Have a nice weekend all..=)

Great Season Salukis

I hate to lose, but the salukis didn't dissapoint anyone today, they played their heart out and showed valiant effort, there are absolutely no reason to hang their head down. Oklahoma state is a damn good team, one of the best teams in all the land of college basketball (if i'm not mistaken 4 of their starters were in Final FOUR last year) and we battled them well..we were the one with the lead most of the time, until a few minutes of the second half. It hurts, but it doesn't sting as much. I'm sad to see the dissapoinment in Darren Brook's face when the buzzer beat and to see Matt shaw broke down on the bench, i think he feels bad for the seniors. Boy there are sure a lot of crying in this NCAA tournament, like a quote from the msg boards. "All 65 teams are gonna cry at some point during the tournament, 64 teams will cry due to losing and only one team will cry tears of joy when they win the National Championship on April 4th....only one team".

My complain is only the home court advantage..i think they have the biggest homecourt advantage of the tourney, the crowd was just ridiculous and we got homered on a couple of questionable calls so we were killed with their almost perfect free throws, they have 29 points from the charity stripe alone!!!. It would've been a different story if it were played on a neutral floor. Heck we'll take them again anyday of the week, anytime of the day and twice on sunday on a neutral floor!!..hehehe... But coach sutton is a class act and so are the players, he was praising us in the press conference which helps to soothe the wounds. I think i will root for them all the way (except when they play illini cause i'm a fan of coach weber) so we can say that we lost to the champion!!..hihi...

All in all, thanks to all the players, especially the seniors (particularly Darren Brooks and Stetson Hairston), thanks for another memorable year of basketball. I'm so sad that they have to leave us..I'm gonna miss watching them play in salukis jersey. I hope they can have a great career right after they graduate, I know Darren is an NBA prospect and have been invited to the NBA camp, i hope he can make the second round draft if not the first round. Hmm now that I think about it.. i could have dated an nba player..hehehe..man i sound like a groupie..oh well but that's a whole other story..:P. On the meantime..here's to another great season. Go Salukis!

Before I forget..Happy Ramadhan untuk semua yang berpuasa...mudah2an puasanya lancar dan tidak bolong2. Mohon maaf lahir batin ya..=)

Watched Cavaliers Vs. Chicago Bulls game at the Savvis Center last saturday. Sshhh..don't tell anyone...but it was my first nba game..hehehe. I was happy to see a few familiar faces like drew gooden, hinrich, duhon, luong deng (sp?) that I knew from their college basketball years. After that we all went to Manda's house and even had sahur together at around 2 o'clock..and finally went home at 2.30 in the morning.

We had a permias election in the afternoon on the same day. Dinar is the new president, Etha is the new secretary and Mikie is the new treasurer..we also had an Indonesian Student Association at UMSL election at the same time..Sigit is the vp and Manda is the secretary..they both have served last year and got reelected for the new officer..and Wulan is the SGA representative. (ps:their blogs can be accessed through my exit page). Congrats to all of you..I think it's something to have a lot of people trust you to lead an organization, it says a lot about you..especially your leadership skill. More power to the girls who ocupy most of the positions..yay..*lho kok jadi feminisme gini*..hihi. Btw, Girl/Woman power is actually one bright side that we can see if Bush gets reelected..so that Hillary can run for president in 2008.

Hari minggu nya went to global food and pengajian.

Monday: Monday is not so membetekan anymore now that my class is on tuesday. got my period..so i didn't fast..bikin makanan banyak...bakwan dan tahu goreng, rendang dan es teler.

Tuesday: School day, i'm happy with my group. sebelum sekolah mampir bubble tea dulu. siangnya sempet masak2 lagi, this time is sambel tempe. Epi was home went i went back from school.

Wednesday: Stayed at home the whole day, tried to clean up the whole house...how did i get into all of these mess!?!..bikin nasi uduk..yum yum

Thursday: Jibran's school day, abis itu mungkin jalan2 ke galleria dan ke target.
