It's sports weekend huh?. There's the NBA Finals, the French Open finals, the Stanley Cup, the final leg of the Triple Crown, plus interleaque ball and Tyson-Lewis. I'm sure it'll be a fun weekend for the guys. Ooh, and let's not forget there's the World Cup also. So for all the Ladies and all my single girlfriends back home, don't forget to hop in to your favorite sports bar this weekend where all the guys watch the kick offs and find yourself a nice looking guy...=).

So.. the lakers won the game last night..it wasn't a surprise, was it? Anyway, before the game started, they had this show about Robert Horry, a glimpse idea about his life lah ceritanya. Ternyata, dia punya anak cewe, ashlyn namanya yang agak cacat mental dan nggak bisa ngomong sama sekali..anaknya lahir with a genetic defect that renders her unable to walk or eat without assistance. Kasian yah? Jadi kalo lagi nggak ada game or practice, si horry ya balike ke houston buat spend time sama keluarganya dan juga nemenin anaknya ke therapist. Horry, beside kobe, is my favorite player, i know he is not the most versatile player in the league, but he always reappears to make a difference...
well what can i do...i have absolutely nothing to do these days. I just updated my resume cause i plan to send out my resume to some of the companies that i'm targetting.
Yesterday, at Borders, i got a bargain book about the icons of the century. It is basically a brief biography of the people who have made a history during the twentieth century. Most of the famous people are there, from the Queen Victoria, Coco Chanel, Mahatma Gandhi, Hitler, Anne Frank, Evita Peron, Ronald Reagan to Margaret thatcher to Boris Yeltsin. Seru juga kayanya ya... i just got to buy that one walaupun masih ada beberapa buku yang belom kebaca such as The confession of teenage hackers, The millionaire next door, Ca Bau kan & Supernova *thanks for the supply trid..=)*, dan setumpuk majalah majalah dari mulai A+, Djakartamag, Cosmo Indonesia, Dewi, Prodo, Femina, Tabloid Marketing and SWA..my all time fave magazine ...ooh and also ada majalah master web. Duuh, tolong dong master web, i think you guys better concentrate di websitenya master web aja *banyak dead linknya tuh...website gue aja dari yang jaman duluuuuu banget masih ada padahal jelas2 linknya udah di ganti*, too much diversivications in a short time period will only hurt you. Anyway, it's just my 2 cents, abisnya majalahnya terlalu di ada adain banget.......
Soo...what else?, i think that's it for today, i gotta go to post office before it's closed and head off to the gym after that....i'm determined to get one of those toned abs and shoulder this summer *woohoo*..therefore i couldn't skip a single session eventhough skarang badannya masih pegel2 semua..=(..

Pheew...Now that I have all the time to blog around, I don’t blog at all, that’s weird considering I was always wanted to blog but never had enough time to write. Anyway..i’m so happy that the Lakers won the West Division title last night *woohooo*… they won it in overtime and on the road.. At first I wasn’t so sure that they were gonna win the game, cause the Kings are just so talented plus they had a home court advantage. But I guess the kings don’t have the poise yet to get the job done, they looked so frustrated. I feel sorry for them…especially for Bibby who played awesome last night.
Speaking about the Lakers, I just finished reading the story of the youngest player to ever appear in the NBA -well this guy was the first player to join the NBA right after graduated from high school, so that made him the youngest at that time- famously known as Kobe Bryant..*hehe, kirain siapa yah?". And yes, in case you're wondering..his parents named him after that delicious Japanese steak. I'm not a groupie or anything, but he’s a truly inspiring individual *at least for me* and I have so much respect for him. I’m just amazed with his hard work, with his ambition to fulfill his dreams, with his faith in himself even though the whole world doubted him.. with his capabilities to pull through and proved everyone wrong. I’m also astounded with his personality and his ability to stay as a homebody with his celebrity status, he refuses to be a part of the fast-paced LA lifestyle. I think he is an amazing young man, plus he speaks Italian..isn’t that cute?. And NO no no, he is not cocky, he is just living his life……
Anyway, before the Kobe Bryant book, I read..”Sebuah Skenario, Jujur Prananto, AADC?”. Lucu juga bukunya, jadi tau gimana nge draft suatu scenario itu. Baca dari scenarionya sih…kayanya ceritanya bagus dan menarik, sayang vcd nya belom keluar. In the meantime, nonton Jelangkung sama Pasir Berbisik dulu aja kali yaaa yang udah di bawain vcdnya.
Oh well, I got to roll now…Dina will be here any minutes, mo lunch dulu niih sekalian browsing around the mall, and wind down at Borders after that…
So much thing has happened in these past two weeks, and so far, this month has been the happiest month for me…full of joy and pleasure.. everything is going my way..*thank you God..i love you mom and dad*. Anyway, here's the brief recap for the last two weeks. I finally graduated, my parents were here to attend my graduation, I was so happy that they could be here with me. Even though my dad was kinda ruined my graduation moment in the end, i couldn't even manage to take pictures with my friends, my classmate and everything cause my dad wanted to watch the damn trinidad boxing match on TV therefore we had to leave early to make it on time for the game with 2 hours drive...arrgghh!!. But it's all okay i guess..*love you dad*
Trus..ya udah, paling jalan jalan disini aja…with nduti too after he got off work. They were here for like a week, and then my dad had a conference in DC, so my mom and I tagged along. I actually love DC especially the georgetown area, but it's sooo crowded it reminds me of Jakarta, well I still love it though, banyak makanan siiyy, hehe, I think I ate more Indonesian foods there than I have ever eaten since I've been here..*yuummeeh*. My fave was Cafe Asia...yang modelnya Asian Fusion gitu.....i love asian fusion.
Tapi stelah balik dari dc i ended up with a flu, maybe because i was always out practically the whole day and half of the night, accompanying my mom to go shopping.. store after store and i'm now literally sick of shopping malls, i especially can't stand to look at a typical girl store that have racks of peasant tops, ruffles skirt, gypsy clothes kinda thing. I liked it when they first came out though but now i think it's just way too much.. Trus, sempet jalan2 ke new york juga, damn it's been a while since the last time i went there...., browsed around soho and times square..!…but this is not the same trip with the one that i intended to go the other day though. So i'll still be going there sometimes soon for that trip.
Other thing happened was, i've moved out of carbondale. Well that's about it I guess…..now i gotta get myself a job..
The trip to new york was canceled, we supposed to go there last Wednesday, but then we pushed it back to Friday, and then..something came up, so we have to push it back again, this time a bit longer, maybe next month or so. Anyway, I’m so glad now cause finally I’m done with all those exams, papers, presentations and all that. I’m still amazed that I could pull through and managed to stay sane for the past three weeks. I feel like I should’ve been given an award or something.
Anyway, today is Monday, I usually hate Monday but I guess not anymore eh?..cause I’m officially on a three months holiday starting from now on…*syeneng* . Last weekend was all right, it was beautiful outside, we tried this Thai house restaurant near by, and it’s good. Tapi ada betenya juga sih weekend kemaren cause when we were about to get on the car?..guess what we found??

Anyway, while this weekend was all right, the previous weekend was very eventful. Despite the exams I had to take I still managed to socialite…*hihi, nggak mo rugi*..abisnya gimana, it's my last days here so i might as well just live it to the fullest right?. It started on Thursday night when I was modeling for Evonne’s fashion show, the theme was the tropical look of Brazil. A lot of people were there, including the paparazzi too..huaha. All of the designers were very creative, i like the one with the denim theme. Anyway, hmm I think it was rather embarrassing for me. Soalnya, something was wrong with the white top that I supposed to wear, so I ended up wearing my own top that didn't matched at all with the skirt. I looked sooo out of place, and thank god my picture didn’t shownup at the next morning school newspaper with the title “Fashion Don’ts 2002” above it, huehehe, or else I wouldn’t dare to show up to school no more. But hey, at least my hair was pretty..;P
On that same night, the department of marketing held a marketing banquet for all the graduating seniors and I was supposed to be there. I heard the banquet was pretty cool, …now that I think of it, I’d rather go to the banquet instead. Anyway, on Friday, we had ASAF member night, a lot of people were there, and I received a plaque and a certificate of achievement, thank you thank you. Thank you guys for still giving me a plaque even though I wasn’t such a dedicated VP, hihi…=). The next day, which was on Saturday, we went to Longbranch coffee shop in the afternoon, I studied for my b2b marketing class, while nduti and ben played chess there. After that, we went to eat at Super Buffet, and then we went to Best Buy. Later on that night, we went to see Panic Room, I thought it supposed to be a thriller movie, but it turned to be a joke. Masa sih pas dia nelfon 911 di jawabnya..”911, please hold”..hellooo it’s 911, nggak mungkin banget kan disuruh hold gitu yang nelfon. Move on…trus minggunya, we went to barnes noble and then we went to the animal shelter near my place to check if they have new kittens, but there was only one..and the others were like lazy old cats. Too bad…
Oh well, I think I need a shower…
I just finished writing a paper for my BUS 302 class, it's almost mid-nite already and i still have one more chapter to read for my exam tomorrow. I can't believe this, i still have 7 more exams to take for this week. But hopefully i have no more exams after that, at least not till september. Three months away from textbooks would be very much appreciated, i think it'll prevent my mind from deteriorating. Agh, I can't wait for the semester to be over so i can go to borders or barnes noble to buy some books that I've been eyeing...but on top of that, i can't wait for friday to come because as soon as i get off my last class...i'm off to new york baby...=)
i'm at the computer lab right now, lately it's been my frequent place to visit, mostly to do all the group projects..but since my printer has been running out of ink, i need to print all the handouts from here too. Couldn't afford the oh-so-expensive inkjet *damn lexmark..*. Tadi tuh sebelum ke sini dengan pintarnya udah inget2 buat ngambil cash dulu di atm, soalnya i need to put some money to the printer card. So i went to the bank nearby and get a $20 cash from the atm. Trus sampe computer lab, ealah...baru inget kenapa juga nggak skalian di pecahin itu $20 nya..soalnya kan mesinnya enggak nerima kembalian. Ya udah deeh jadinya terpaksa keluar lagi, ke student center, get a small coke at mcdonalds so i could have some changes. Hmm...so smart yet still...unintelligent, hihi.
Eniwei, it's gorgoeus outside, i wish i could go to the ice cream parlor and sitting around at the park sambil makan2 ice cream and people watching.....such a joy.
Life of Erike Greene, a twenty years old girl will change drastically. Why?. Cause she just won a Multistate Big Game Jackpots and received a $58.9 million!!! Man, that's $58.9 million, I don't even know how many zeros it has. I guess tomorrow she'll be busy contacting a real estate agent to get her and her family a mansion, next she'll go to exlusive car dealers and order high end cars made only for her. Man, some people are just so lucky like that. I wonder what I'd do with that big amount of money...Hmm, *ngayaL*
My mom called me at 4.30 AM this morning...please mom, of all the hours you can pick, why 4.30 when i was so lulled in my dream. But I still answered the phone anyway and we talked for like almost half an hour. By time we finished our chitchat my eyes were already wide awake and i couldn't go back to sleep. She ruined my plan of having a good night sleep last night...but that's okay though, i still love my mom, hihi. But i'm hella sleepy right now.

I'm at home now...eating a delicious hunan chicken from Kahala..=). Anyway, a strange thing happened on the way back from school. I was crossing the street and i saw a guy in a red car drove past by me slowly. I didn't sense anything cause it was just basically another car passing by. I kept walking and then when i got to my place, i noticed that the same car was waiting in front of the building i live in. I knew he was about to approach me cause no one else was there, and then he rolled down his window and he was like hey i'm new in this area and i haven't got any friends bla bla bla i'm wondering if you could go out with me, maybe we could get a cup of coffee or something. And i was like ehmm no..i'm afraid not. And he was like why, are you seeing somebody bla bla bla and he insisted me to give him my phone numbers and begged me to give it a chance and go out with him.
Hmm, this is weird, i just can tell from the way he approached me that he is in another mission. Cause when he was waiting for me, he tried to block me with his car so i'd be standing right by his window, but i walked so fast so i was already a few steps away from his car when he rolled down the window. Another thing that strange was he talked so slow that i could barely hear, maybe that was his tactic so i'd moved closer to him. So anyway, i assume that he's one of those pyschotic maniac guys who likes to show off his thingy to strangers to satisfy his wacko needs. I don't know what kind of disorder is that but i know some people are just insane like that. It happened to me a couple times a long time ago, mostly they pretend that they get lost and ask for the direction to the address they looking for. And they'll be masturbating right then and there while you're trying to explain the directions to get there, you didn't realize it at first, but he'll show you what he was doing..*yuck*..and then you could barely eat.
Anyway, so that's my assumption of his mission, because if he really wants to talk to me and get my numbers he would just park his car, get off and walked to me. But he didn't.. and i wasn't about to let another shocking moment happened to me, so..hmm screw you!!!!. I know he didn't do any thing that's harmful but still you know. I went to pick up my food after that and whenever i saw a red car it scares the hell out of me!!.
Time to do my case......
