Unboxing; Laptop-Tablet Hybrid from DELL

July 23, 2015

Unboxing a new stuff is always exciting, and this one is even more exciting because I've never owned anything like it before. I'm depended on my laptop, and sometimes I like the idea of bringing a smaller and lighter device that is enough for working-on-the-go and do a quick presentation to clients. But most of the time, I ended up bringing the two because I feel that they both serve different purposes.

Well guess what, now I don't have to do that anymore! This DELL Inspiron 11 3000 is a hybrid device that can be used as laptop or tablet, I get the best of both world. Problem solved!

Well, I won't pretend I know all the specs and stuff, so anything too technical you can just Google it :D. I like this laptop simply for the fact that it's a two in one! As a mom of two, I cannot be too selfish with my gadget. I have to share them with my kids too. Being a digital native who is also a touch-screen generation, they didn't look too interested when I unboxed the laptop. But when I showed them how it can be flipped to 360 degrees, 'stand' on mode and has touchscreen capability, their eyes lit up and they immediately took over my space -__-.

So yes, this laptop is perfect for a working mother. Especially when you consider the fact that gadgets are rarely safe in kids's hands as they are bound to create dents and  There got to be some dents and taints being left in there so after purchase service is the key! With DELL, you'll get that assurance. I've heard a story about Stella Rissa whose laptop gone kaput before her show and she needed it for the show, DELL technician came and fixed the laptop on the spot!

Of  course there are other things I like about this laptop. I don't know about you, but I always try to know more about the brand and its history before I buy their products. I like brands with story and if I like the story, how they started and agree with their mission, I sure will be one loyal customer. DELL is founded by Michael Dell who is now one of the richest people in the world and active on philantrophic activities. In addition to that, as he is passionate about fostering entrepreneurs, he became United Nations Global Advocate for Entrepreneurship. DELL also has DWEN which stands for DELL Women Entrepreneurship Network which I hope to be able to attend the conference next year.

You see, it's a brand that supports entrepreneurship and women! How can I not embrace it? :)

Oh and you know what, the battery can last for up to 8 hours. A plus point for me as I don't have to bother bringing the charger anywhere.

It's sleek, affordable, two-in one, can be used for the whole family, reliable and backed with a remarkable story. Those sealed the deal for me.
